Impact in Maryland

Better Futures provides support to a plethora of nonprofit associations across the country. Recently, this included support to improve the Howard County Family Child Care Association that was originally started in the 1960's. This support included serving as the exclusive approved training organization and developing customized online courses for members, in need of clock hours, on a variety of topics our membership identified as important to them to learn more about during the pandemic lockdown.

Working collaboratively with the Board of Directors, Better Futures reorganized and restructured the Association to be able to apply for IRS 501(c)3 status. Better Futures completed the process that led to Howard County Family Child Care Association receiving the 501(c)3 status.
